隠岐の最高峰「大満寺山」に佇む巨木「岩倉の乳房杉」。
だいたい800年命をつなげ、神々しさを纏っていました。
枝分かれした幹と、「気根」とよばれる、幹や、茎から大気中に伸びる根っこが、芸術的な造形をうみだしています。
まわりの杉がふつうに生育している中で、この「乳房杉」のみが、幹を分裂させ、根っこを乳房のようにたらしています。
「乳房杉」のまわりは、吸収したい空気で満ちていました。
